Meet the Team
The Low Barns Volunteer Task Force (aka The Team) is made up of over 80 volunteers who give from one Saturday per month to three - four days a week! The Team is lead by three Volunteer Reserve Officers (VROs), a Reserves Assistant and a Reserves Officer.
The Team (far too many to name!)
The Volunteers are a fabulous group of people who simply enjoy working with people, being outside and have an interest in wildlife and the countryside. However, most people volunteer to meet new people, make friends and have a laugh!
Volunteer Reserves Officers (Chris & Sacha)
The Team is lead by three VROs who are also volunteers. VROs commit three days per week for a period of 12 months and in return they get a wide range of skills and qualifications.

Volunteer Admin Assistant (Lisa)
Lisa has volunteered for the Trust for many years running the office at Low Barns and volunteering out on task. How she manages to get her work done so efficiently is anybody's guess!

Reserves Assistant (Graeme)
This is a relatively new role to the Trust. The Reserves Assistant supports the Reserves Officer in two main ways - by promoting and recruiting volunteers and helping to deliver the practical tasks.

Reserves Officer (Craig)
The Reserves Officer is responsible for managing 11 of the Trusts reserves in West Durham including, producing the work programmes, reviewing management plans, ordering materials and making sure everyone is enjoying themselves!
